Joint DARE & HEAR Application Information Sessions

6th year students who wish to apply to the Higher Education Access Route (HEAR) or the Disability Access Route to Education (DARE) are invited to attend a joint DARE & HEAR Application Information Session. DARE & HEAR Representatives will be available to answer your queries. Parents/Guardians also welcome.

Events

Participating colleges run a number of Information Days & Open Days throughout the year for guidance counsellors and prospective students.

Specific Events are run for students with disabilities, the most significant of which is the Better Options event.

Better Options

These 3 half-day events focus on students with a disability or specific learning difficulty considering Higher Education options in Ireland. Third Level Institutions from across Ireland will be in attendance to provide information on application procedures, course details and the various supports available for students with disabilities and specific learning difficulties. Students will also be in attendance to talk about their experiences.
