UNIVERSITY COLLEGE DUBLIN (UCD)
UCD attracts world class scholars and provides education to Irish and international students. The university aims to open young minds and education leaders of society, producing confident and highly skilled graduates. UCD is situated just 4km south of Dublin’s city centre and is home to 24,000 students.
UCD Entry Requirements DARE 2011
If you apply to UCD you must achieve the Minimum Entry Requirements. These are:
- Grade C3 in two higher level Leaving Certificate subjects and Grade D3 in four ordinary or higher level Leaving Certificate subjects
- Obtain the specific programme requirements

Students with significant learning difficulties and/or hearing disabilities may apply for a language waiver from the NUI. A language waiver exempts students from the Irish and Third Language requirements. To apply for the language waiver please contact the NUI and contact details can be found on the NUI website www.nui.ie
